My TCHF
Promote TCHF
Help spread the word about TCHF programs with door-knocking, flyer and event tasks.
Promote TCHF is a volunteer program that helps spread the word about TCHF programs across Canada. It is run by Trillium Community Help Foundation (TCHF), a registered Canadian charity, through My TCHF.
Book a door-knocking, flyer or event task, then record doors knocked, flyers dropped and sign-ups at the end of your shift.
Who can join
Adults and high-school students. Volunteers under 18 take part with the consent of a verified parent or guardian.
Spreading the word helps more seniors and neighbours find free help, and more people find a way to volunteer.
How to get help
Promote TCHF is a way to volunteer. If you or someone you look after needs a hand at home, see Shovel For Seniors and Lawn Care for Seniors.
How to volunteer
Create a free account, choose Volunteer and verify your ID. Then book an open task near you. A booked task appears on your Schedule.
At the end of your shift, record what you did: doors knocked, flyers dropped and sign-ups.
Safety
- You verify your ID with Stripe Identity before you can book a task. TCHF never receives or keeps images of your ID or your selfie.
- Promote TCHF doesn’t need a police check.
- Volunteers under 18 need the consent of a verified parent or guardian, and can book tasks only inside the daylight hours their guardian set.
- With your consent, your location is recorded only while an in-person shift is on, so TCHF staff can keep you safe.
When it runs
Promote TCHF runs all year. TCHF posts tasks as they open; if none are open in your city, the app tells you.
